Intellon Names Doug Norby to Board of Directors

- Experienced Semiconductor Financial Executive Joins Board of Leading Maker of HomePlug Powerline Communications ICs -

Intellon Corporation, a world leader in standards-based powerline communications integrated circuits (ICs), today announced that R. Douglas Norby has joined its Board of Directors. Norby will also chair the Audit Committee of the Board.

Norby served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Tessera Technologies, Inc. from 2003 to 2006. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of LSI Logic Corporation from 1996 to 2000, and served as a member of its Board of Directors from 1993 to April 2007. From 1985 to1992, Norby served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Lucasfilm Ltd. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President Finance of Fairchild Camera and First Chicago.

Norby received his B.A. in Economics from Harvard University and M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
